The Adamant Medical Clinic, one of the first private healthcare centers to open in St. Petersburg, Russia’s second largest city and cultural capital, opened its doors in 1994. From its inception, the AMC was geared towards the healthcare needs of tourists and expatriates in Russia. The AMC is also the designated provider of medical examinations for immigrants and tourist to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium and other countries.
The Adamant Medical Clinic is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide both out-patient and in-patient care. Our hospital offers the city’s finest emergency medical care including two ultra-modern surgical theaters and Russia’s most advanced intensive care unit. Our surgical theaters meet the highest standards of safety and sterility utilizing autonomous ventilation systems, bacterial filters, high pressure air in the surgical room, back up power generators and much more of the latest technologies.
Our ICU is designed to hold up to 4 patients in isolated private rooms. Each room is equipped with modern systems of monitor control, video monitoring, cross infections (hospital infection) prevention systems and more controlled at all times by a duty doctor and two nurses.
The in-patient department consists of 10 private rooms each equipped with a shower, toilet, air conditioner, TV, VHS + CD and direct phone line. The Adamant Medical Clinic can accommodate up to 20 hospital patients simultaneously.
The Adamant Medical Clinic holds licenses for 31 types of out-patient services (including all the range of dental services) and 11 variants of in-patient services.

They are:
1. Comprehensive health check-up. This service is offered at the same price for both men and women. The price of a basic package is 450 Euro.
Comprehensive check-up for men includes: GP Doctor consultation, laboratory tests (CBC, urinalysis, biochemistry tests, PSA), Cardiologist, ENT, Ophthalmologist and Urologist evaluations, ECG, Stress-ECG, Ultrasound investigations (pelvic and abdominal), Chest X-ray, urofloumetry.
Comprehensive check-up for women includes: GP Doctor consultation, laboratory tests (CBC, urinalysis, biochemistry tests, CO-125, 2 Gram satins), Gynecologist, ENT and Ophthalmologist evaluation, Ultrasound investigations (thyroid, abdominal, pelvic, mammal glands), Chest X-ray, ECG.
Also for an additional fee you can purchase and add-on to the basic package. It consists of endoscopic investigations performed under i/v anesthesia: gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
The price of this add-on is 300 Euro.
2. Hip joint replacement. Includes: preoperative investigation and consultations, the surgery itself, anesthesia, 2 days in the ICU, 7 days in a private room, daily doctor’s consultations, all the necessary and typical laboratory tests before and after the surgery, medications, X-rays, blood transfusion and wound dressings.
Price: 5750 Euro. This price does not include the artificial joint which is approximately 1500-2500 Euro depending on medical indications and the patient’s choice of manufacturer.
3. Knee joint replacement. Includes: preoperative investigation and consultations, the surgery itself, anesthesia, 2 days in the ICU, 8 days in a private room, daily doctor’s consultations, all the necessary and typical laboratory tests, medications, X-rays, blood transfusion and wound dressings.
Price: 6500 Euro. This price does not include the artificial joint which is approximately 2500-3000 Euro depending on medical indications and the patient’s choice of manufacturer.
4. Vertebroplasty/kephoplasty. Includes: preoperative investigation and consultations, the surgery itself, anesthesia, 1 day in the ICU, 3 days in a private room, daily doctor’s consultations, all the necessary and typical laboratory tests, medications, X-rays and CT-scans.
Price: 6200 Euro.
5. Dental implants. Includes: preoperative investigation and consultations, the surgery itself, implant (Replaceâ, USA) and abatement costs.
Price: 1100 Euro per 1 implant.
6. Trans Urethral Resection for treatment of benign prostate gland hyperplasia. Includes: preoperative investigation and consultations, the surgery itself, anesthesia, 2 days in the ICU, 3 days in a private room, daily doctor’s consultations, all the necessary and typical laboratory tests, medications and ultrasound investigations.
Price: 4500 Euro.

1. Traumatology and orthopedics
Leading Traumatologist-Orthopedist: Dr. Belenky G. Igor
Work experience: 20 years. Multiple trainings in Germany. Standing member of the Association of Ostheosynthesis International
Performs: Complete range of surgeries in orthopedics and traumatology, including minor invasive methods of osteosynthesis, hip and knee joints replacements. Uses tools provided by Zimmer (USA), Synthes/Matiss, (Switzerland), Stryker (USA).
Annually performs: Up to 600 surgeries on bones, and joints, including 60 - 80 joint replacement surgeries.

1. Gynecology
Leading gynecological surgeon: Semenova D. Elena
Work experience: 23 years.
Performs: All range of traditional (open) and endo-video surgeries.
Annually performs: 280-350 surgeries in gynecology including 120-160 laparoscopic surgeries

3. Urology
Leading urologist: Kagan F. Oleg.
Work experience: 15 years. Standing member of the European Association of Urologists.
Performs: contemporary methods of diagnostics, conservative and surgical treatment, including surgeries of benign hyperplasia of prostate gland, cancer of prostate gland, cancer of the urinary bladder. Extensive experience in treatment of erectile dysfunction, including surgical options.
Annually performs: up to 600 surgeries, including 300 Trans Urethral Resections, 100-140 phalloplasty surgeries and 10-15 surgeries of prostatectomy.
