The American Medical Clinic in St. Petersburg, Russia provides adoptive parents with a professional and detailed assessment in English of the health and well being of their prospective son or daughter.

   Dr. Sophia Snigireva and Dr. Kiril Rudinski both combine their experience working within a western medical center with extensive experience in pre-adoptive medical examinations and assessments. Both Dr. Rudinski and Dr. Snigireva offer their services either within the American Medical Clinic in St. Petersburg or at orphanages across the country.

   Dr. Sophia Snigireva is a Pediatrician who completed her licensing in 1981 and has practiced medicine within an international medical setting since 1990. Dr. Snigireva has performed more than 50 pre-adoptive medical examinations and developmental assessments.

   Dr. Kiril Rudinski is a licensed Family Practitioner who completed his licensing in 1991 and has practiced medicine within and international medical setting for 5 years. Dr. Rudinski has performed more than 60 medical pre-adoptive medical examinations and developmental assessments.

   Our Basic Pre-Adoption Package includes an evaluation and summary of the child’s medical records, a physical exam, a growth evaluation using percentile charts and a developmental review. The developmental assessment will include language skills, social and adaptive behavior skills, and fine and gross motor skills using the Denver II development scale. This package includes a written copy of Dr. Snigireva or Dr. Rudinski’s report on their findings and their interaction with the child.

   Our Medical Report and History Evaluation include an evaluation and summary of the child’s medical records and a complete written summary of Dr. Snigireva or Dr. Rudinski’s evaluation of the information provided.

   Either program includes the opportunity for prospective parents to speak directly with either Doctor concerning the information they provide regarding the child.
