Dear Sirs:

I was on a tour from a cruise when I suffered a loss of vision in my left eye. On relatively short notice, I received an ophthalmologic examination from Dr. Nikolay Zaitsev on 17 August of this year. He was assisted by another doctor who applied his knowledge to effectively interpret what the Dr. Zaitsev and I had said. I apologize for not retaining this second doctor's name. After the examination, as advised, we then terminated our trip and returned to the United States.

As directed, I have since been seen by a local ophthalmologist who of course confirmed what Dr. Zaitsev had concluded. I am now recovering nicely.

I am writing to thank doctors and the American Medical Clinic for providing such excellent treatment on such short notice. You are a credit to your profession.

Thank you again.
Steven C.

Hello Dr Bushkin, Maria and all the wonderful nurses and doctors who took such wonderful care of me!

Just another heartfelt thank you on the one year anniversary of my arrival at your clinic in St Petersburg. Not a day goes by that I don't think of my two weeks with all of you and if not for your care and medical expertise I might not be here. So, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I hope the summer is treating you all well, we have had an exceptionally warm summer and after our trip last year, my children claimed that they had no desire to travel with me again overseas. We are spending a great summer in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in our home state of Washington. I hope all of you are well and happy.

Fondly,
Cynthia A.

Hello,

I wanted to thank the clinic for my recent care there. On July 26th, while on a tour in St. Petersburg, I fractured my left foot due to a misstep. I was traveling as part of a river boat tour with the U.S.A. based tour company, Alumni Holidays, Inc., aboard the Ilya Repin. The ship's doctor contacted the American Medical Clinic. I was transported by a very caring ambulance staff to the clinic, where Dr. Viktor Vilensky, an orthopedist, saw me as soon as I arrived. He confirmed the fracture through an x-ray and quickly put my foot in a cast and provided me with crutches. He asked that I return for a follow-up visit on July 31st. During that visit, the possible need for surgery was discussed. Apparently, surgery could be useful or it might be satisfactory to let the foot heal through more conservative treatment (cast, crutches). Since I was scheduled to depart Russia for home on August 3rd, I chose to defer consideration of surgery until I returned to the U.S.A. Please let Dr. Vilensky know that the orthopedic foot specialist I visited yesterday in New York at the Hospital for Special Surgery, Dr. Matthew Roberts, indicated that he believed surgery is not necessary at this time. Dr. Roberts agreed with Dr. Vilensky's treatment…

I’ m very grateful to the clinic and its staff, including the ambulance crew, the x-ray technician Ludmilla, and especially to Dr. Vilensky for the excellent care I received. I will always treasure my memories of my trip to Russia. My heartfelt thanks to the American Medical Clinic for helping to make my fracture only a minor part of these memories!

Болъшое Спасибо!
Sincerely,
Dr. Martha F. R.

Words cannot express how grateful I am for the way you helped my father during his illness.

Thank you so much,

Kristofer W.

Dear Doctor Belenkiy,

I am writing to let you know tat last week I saw Michael Smith, an orthopedic surgeon from St Thomas’s Hospital in London, who said that my fracture was healing very well and who expressed admiration for the quality of your surgery and care. I am most grateful.

With kind regards,

Michael A.

Dear American Clinic Staff!

We are afraid of making a mistake to call te name of a philosopher who said that the first half of the success of the medical treatment is the right attitude to the patient and the second part is the medicine itself.

At your clinic it is successfully combined. Attention, warmth and at the same time professionalism at the highest level. Great thanks to all of you for bringing us back to normal life.

With great appreciation,

Tamara and Genady L.

Dear Doctor Zhelninova,

Thank you again for the excellent treatment and kind attention I received from you and your colleagues at the American Medical Clinic 9-11 May. I have by now fully recovered from my allergic reaction.

My General practitioner, Dr. Leonard S., was very impressed by your reports and all the test results. He expressed that I could not have received any better treatment here in America and that your service was not only excellent but an extraordinary value as well.

He also agreed that your advice and instructions on how I must change my “life style” are absolutely necessary if I am to enjoy good health in the future.

I hope to have the opportunity to visit your magnificent city again. When I do I will be sure to visit the American Medical Clinic and say hello. If you should ever plan a visit to America please let me know for I would like very much to again express my thanks.

Sincerely,

Willard M. M.

Hello, Dr. Rudinsky,

I’m pleased to inform you that the medication worked well within three days, and the end of my trip was pain-free. Thank you for your thorough and attentive examination and diagnosis. It was intimidating to contemplate requiring medical attention in a foreign country, but my trip to American Medical Clinic turned out to be one of the most memorable adventures of my trip. Thank you for your competent and kind attention.

I have spoken highly of the medical services I obtained in St.Petersburg, including to my son who is a medical resident at an emergency-care clinic in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was impressed with the comprehensive and professional attention I received at your clinic.

Gratefully,

Ellen B.

Dear Dr. Kirill Rudinsky,

Thank you very much for your emails and your kind support. I returned back home safely. My physician was very pleased to get your medical report and fully supported your treatment. He suggested home rest, which helps me to recover. This was the most difficult part – being a very active type of person. I am looking forward to going back to work!

Let me thank you and your team at the American Medical Clinic for your competent and efficient help!

With kind regards,

Ute Z.

Dear Dr Konstantin Vaksov,

Thank you so much for your attention and advise.

Best regards,

Helen P.

Dear Dr. Vaksov!

I am now home and feeling well. Nevertheless, I will be seeing my family doctor within a few days. I cannot imagine that he would do other than to confirm your thorough and careful diagnosis.

I want to thank you for your concern and your excellent care. I was a stranger in a strange (but altogether lovely and enchanting) city, and you welcomed me and treated as you would a friend. For that I am, and will remain, most grateful.

Yours sincerely,

Robert F.

Thanks so much for your care and professionalism. We’ll continue to give you high marks to any Americans visiting St. Pete.

I just wanted to thank you all for your kindness and help. I have really appreciated everything you have done. Nothing has been too much trouble for you and most importantly you always have a smile.

My father and I have been most impressed by all of the staff of the American medical Clinic. You have been great!

Kind regards,

Mark S.

There's nothing quite as scary as having to visit hospital in a foreign country. Although you know you're just being hysterical, there's always the thought in the back of your mind that the non-english speaking doctor is going to anaesthetise you with no more than a couple of shots of vodka before proceeding to amputate your right leg - when all you had was an ingrowing toenail. Take the worry out of your trip to the doc's by signing up with the American Medical Clinic. They provide state-of-the art health care - and what's more they provide it in English.
