The American Medical Clinic and Hospital is proud of having the City’s finest, most modern intensive care unit (ICU). The unit contains 4 fully isolated wards, and is supplied with latest hi-end equipment much of which is unique for Russia.

The ICU provides intensive medical and nursing care on a continuous basis for patients with acute medical diagnoses as well as in the post operative period.

Some of the medical conditions we treat are:

• Acute coronary syndrome and myocardial infarctions
• Acute rhythm disturbance
• Pneumonia, complicated by respiratory distress or ventilatory insufficiency
• Bronchoastmatic status
• Acute disorders of brain circulation at early stage of disarranged diabetes
• Strokes
• Decompensated circulatory inefficiency
• Postoperative conditions

The ICU staff is committed to providing expert and compassionate care. In the treatment process of all our medical cases we fully utilize the capacities of the other departments available on-site: laboratory, ultrasound investigations, echocardiography, X-ray investigations and etc.
